So I know I just posted a video of Jack and I reading to Luke yesterday, but since this is my blog I can post another reading video today if I want, right? This one is a little different (and longer!). It's Jack reading by himself. His selection was Mommies Say Shh... by Patricia Polacco, my all-time favorite children's author. Most of Polacco's books are written for kids in upper elementary school, but I stumbled across a couple of her board books one day at Books-A-Million. Jack seems to like Polacco as much as his mommy because this is one of his frequently chosen books. The repetitive nature of the book allows Jack to read it almost entirely by himself.
