Mother's Day

I talked the boys into taking a few pictures for Grandma's Mother's Day present. They turned out pretty cute. 

Bird Watching

Our family has really enjoyed the spring in Greenville. It's gorgeous. The view out our front windows reminds me of being on a vacation to somewhere beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. John and I have spent countless hours on the front porch, enjoying cocktails and conversation with each other and neighbors. 

Another pastime has become taking care of our birds. Finches have been building nests and laying eggs in our ferns. The kids have enjoyed keeping an eye on the eggs, seeing the baby birds, and filling our bird feeders. 

All this moving around we've done the last few years finally put us somewhere we truly love to be. And our finches seem happy too.

Family Camping

We took our first family camping trip over the weekend. I think John has been waiting for this day since the boys were born. Jack is especially happy out in the wilderness. He was responsible for gathering firewood and was rather proud of the campfire. Luke preferred hanging out in the new tent. In fact, he told me that we can get rid of his bed because he never wants to sleep in it again. It was a great weekend spent with my three favorite people.
