Historic Snowfall

Last week, we got to experience a historic snowfall in Woodstock. That's what the newscasters kept calling it- a historic snowfall. It was beautiful and fun to be snowed in for an entire weekend. The kids took advantage of all six inches of snow. They built a snowman with the neighbors, sledded, threw snowballs at each other, and even shoveled some snow.

Santa Visit 2017

The school had a Cocoa and Cookies with Santa event last night. It was a packed house but one of the committee chairs lives down the street, and she advised me to get there when the doors open if we wanted to visit with Santa in a timely manner. Both boys had a nice chat with the jolly man. He asked them to focus on giving back this year and being kind and sweet children. It was a great message for older children to hear. Jack asked Santa for a video game. Luke asked for a Lego Minecraft set that's backordered and impossible for anyone but Santa himself to get for Luke this Christmas!

When Santa asks what else you'd like for Christmas and you're unprepared.
