Beach Bums

The boys spent the entire weekend at the beach. John took them on Saturday while I got my hair cut, and then I joined them on Sunday. It's amazing how comfortable they have become in the water. Both boys love boogie boarding. Jack is able to get going all on his own while Luke still needs a boost from John. We only have one boogie board, but we are going to have to invest in a second one before our Thorn family trip to the beach. I love my little beach bums.

4th of July Bike Parade

Hurricane Arthur couldn't spoil all of our 4th of July fun. The neighborhood bike parade was pretty much the only event in the area that wasn't cancelled or rescheduled. The weather cooperated, and the parade was a lot of fun. Fireworks have been rescheduled for tomorrow. 

Playdates, Movie with Mom, and July Christmas Lists

Jack spent the day at Colton's house today. While he was gone, Luke and I went to Target to buy Toy Story 3 and watched it together. Jack can't be too jealous though because he spent the day playing with all of Colton's Toy Story toys, which is what both boys are planning on asking Santa for. Aren't you glad we have this all decided in July?
