Jack had his first day away from home today. We went to church with John's parents and then enjoyed some of Jane's cooking. After a slow start, it seems like Jack has figured out that he has an appetite. I'm sure he would have liked to taste some of Grandma's apple crisp, but I told him he had to stick to the milk. I know Jane will have him baking cookies with her before too long.
