It's a tradition in the Johnson family that Grandma Barb, Kevin's mom, makes each of her grandchildren a Scandinavian christening gown for their family's christenings. It touched my heart when Megan called me one afternoon just before Jack was born and told me that Barb wanted me to have one of the gowns. I think I spent so much time with Kevin and Kathy while I was growing up that she sort of thought of me as one of those grandkids. I can only guess at how much time Barb spent making this christening gown for our family. I can tell you that it means the world to me. Tomorrow Luke is being baptized. Please keep our family in your prayers as we promise to raise Luke to know Jesus.
