I Must Be Doing Something Right

The boys and I spent some time at the park yesterday morning and then had a picnic lunch down by the river. It was fun! After rest time at home, we rode bikes down to our neighborhood park and had a lot less fun. Another boy, a little older than Luke, pushed Luke down because Jack was using the swing he wanted. My proud mother moment came from Jack's response. He jumped off the swing and went up to the boy and said, "You pushed my brother. That wasn't nice. You won't have any friends." After I finished comforting Luke, I went and gave Jack a great big squeeze and told him how proud I was of him for taking care of his little brother. It was an I must be doing something right moment.
