This morning I asked Jack if he would like to go to the park. His answer was that it is too hot to play at the park. And so, we've moved into the months of summer when there are days that it truly is just too hot to enjoy playing outside. Moms have to be creative. So, here's what we've been doing this morning.
I put a masking tape road all through the downstairs of the house. With destinations like this bakery below, an airport, a carwash, a playground, the dump (country!), and lots of stoplights so no one drives too fast.
And, the boys have been having a good time. Both big...
... and small.
The sign of a good idea is that they enjoy playing together. This one worked.
