The Johnsons arrived on Friday morning after a fifteen hour drive through the night. On Friday night we took them to College Grove Community Center to listen to some bluegrass. Jack got dressed up for the occasion, and all the old folks loved it!
We headed to Lynchburg on Saturday. Kathy, Kevin, Jake, and Megan rode motorcycles while John, Jack, and I went in the truck. We came home to a big surprise on Saturday- no air conditioning in the house. Yuck! On Sunday Megan ran the 10K in Nashville. Then we went to dinner at Linda's. On Monday morning we got up and went to The Loveless Cafe.
Kathy, Kevin, and Jake left for the Smokies that afternoon. Megan stayed with us to spend time with Jack. One morning Megan and I got up and drove in to Nashville to take a few pictures of her in the city.
We've been shopping and to the pool, having lots of fun. The air conditioning was fixed yesterday, so Kathy, Kevin, and Jake will have a cool house to come home to tonight. Still on the agenda for the Johnson vacation? Bluegrass Night at the Ryman, Miller's Grocery, downtown Franklin, and downtown Nashville. We love having the Johnsons visit!
