In spite of our move to Norfolk that begins tomorrow, we made Jack's birthday special today. He helped me bake his cake this afternoon. At his request, we put chocolate sprinkles and mini chocolate chips on the top. That boy's sweet tooth will catch up with him when he's 30. He spent quite a bit of time this afternoon/evening facetiming all the people who love him and even got singing voicemails. I love that technology allows us to stay connected to the people who love us even though we live so far away. Then we sang, opened presents, and had some cake while Grandpa and Grandma watched on Facetime. Thanks to everyone who sent presents and cards. Jack is a lucky, lucky boy.
